The Shire of Druim
Doineann invites you to join us for a weekend of fun at Hot Summer Lights.
We will be hosting our annual Archery and Rapier Championships, Heavy
tournaments, A&S competitions and much more. We will be hosting an
Archer’s appreciation potluck breakfast Saturday morning. And also a
potluck dinner Saturday evening. (Mundane last name beginning with: A-G:
Main dish; H-N: Side dish/vegetable; O-Z: Breads or desserts)
The site is
primitive, be prepared. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after. In
accordance to local mandates, a burn ban is in effect, and no fires will
be permitted. (That includes wood, gas powered, or Tiki torches. Propane
lanterns and stoves are acceptable)
We don't require
reservations for camping, but we can accommodate large groups, or special
needs. There is still room for those that travel with RV's.
We still have plenty
of space for merchants; please contact the Autocrat for further
information.
Site fees: Adults
$12, youth (6-17) $6, 5 or under free. The $3 NMS fee applies. Make checks
payable to “Shire of Druim Doineann, SCA, Inc.” Site will open at noon on
Friday and will close at 3:00 pm on Sunday

Directions to Site:
From the East: Take Hwy. 101 past all the Sequim exits. Just after you
cross the Dungeness River, you will see a Texaco Station on the left. Turn
left here this is Taylor Cutoff Road.
From the West: Take
Hwy 101 east of Port Angeles, through the stoplight in Carlsborg, a Texaco
Station will be on the right at Taylor Cutoff Rd just before you come the
Dungeness River.
East or West is the
same past this point: Follow Taylor Cutoff Rd until you come to a sharp
right hand turn. Here Taylor Cutoff becomes Lost Mountain Rd. 5 miles from
the turn off Hwy 101 turn left onto Slab Camp Rd. (#2870). There is a
"Dead End" sign on the right at the turn onto Slab Camp. The site is about
1/2-mile on Slab Camp on the left.
